The cottage sleeps 6 people. It is situated 8 miles north of Abergavenny on the east side of the Black Mountains, near a village with an award winning shop (’Hopes of Longtown’). It has oil fired central heating. The three bedrooms are in the 19th century part of the cottage (they are each about 12 ft square) and all have new mattresses. On the first floor are a twin room and a double bedroom (with 6 ft bed) with en suite bathroom. The second twin, with adjoining shower room, is on the ground floor. There is a further bathroom on the ground floor as well as a utility room with washing machine. Linen and towels are provided. The big sitting room is on the first floor of the new extension. There is a TV (with Freesat), a CD player and lots of books and games. The kitchen-dining room is on the ground floor. It has a built-in double oven, microwave, ceramic hob, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and a wood burning stove. The kitchen is supplied with staple foods. There are French windows to a sunny terrace with a table and chairs for eating outside. There is generous parking for 2 cars and a garden with a lawn and fruit trees.
